“A distinction must be made between tribes and tribalism . . . Tribalism arose from colonialism . . . In the era of neo-colonialism, tribalism is exploited by the bourgeois ruling classes as an instrument of power politics, and as a useful outlet for the discontent of the masses.” Kwame Nkrumah, Class Struggle in Africa, p. 59
Pan-African and Revolutionary Greetings:
The Pan-African Revolutionary Socialist Party (PRSP) hopes that this email finds you well and welcomes you to another African Must Unite Podcast. All this year we are focusing on the following theme: “Nkrumaism: Shining the Way Forward Through the Crisis in Today’s African World”.
Listen in as Brothers Melvin and Neal discuss the ethnic conflicts presently plaguing our homeland, and as they discuss the permanent solution: the destruction of capitalism in all its manifestations and the building of Pan-Africanism, a unified, socialist Africa. It is this solution, they state, that will bring about the following:
1. The prominence of a national identity of Africans first.
2. The reinstatement of the best of our traditional values of humanism, collectivism, and egalitarianism, which are the strongest defense against ethnic conflicts.
We hope that you will not only listen to this podcast, but also share it with your contacts.
Forward ever!
