We are well aware of the permanent solution for this problem: the complete annihilation of capitalism in all of its manifestations and the erection of a unified, socialist Africa. But until that time, Brothers Melvin and Terrence offer some immediate solutions. For example:
1. Although we are taught, within the African world, to keep our mental health struggles within the immediate family, we must begin to seek help outside of the family to help our youth to heal.
2. Our youth must see African adults walk the walk of the socialist way of life, not just talk the talk.
3. Our youth must be involved in organization, revolutionary Pan-African organization, in order to begin the process of political education to thwart the impact of capitalism.
