In this month’s podcast, we highlight the fact, stated in our calendar 2025, that the potential benefits of Africa’s land, labor, and mineral resources, all of which exist in abundance, can only be fully realized when Africa unites and the fruits of its humongous resources, both human and physical, are shared equitably among the masses of its people. This is socialism!
Listen to Brother Toks as he uses the example of the unity forged between the Sahelian States of Burkina Faso, Mali, and Niger as a sign of the motion of Africa toward a unified, socialist Africa. They are moving at a rapid pace to devote themselves to the health and wealth of their people. For example, the confederation formed among these three states has resulted in military security, economic unity, economic security, etc. This is socialism! Moreover, the movement is popular among the masses of our people, youth organizations, women organizations and more, inspiring all global Africans, not just our people at home. It’s a new day.
Listen to Mama d as she discusses the relationship between a unified, socialist Africa and the intensification of the class struggle that is now affecting the u.s. and the rest of the world. For Africa, in particular, the suspension of USAID’s funding as well as Africans finding it difficult to live peacefully and successfully abroad will force more and more of our people to face the neo-colonial puppets in their states. Coups d’etat will occur and more and more states, once neo-colonial puppets have been overthrown, will be forced to unite in order to survive and to prosper. In other words, the old path is blocked, The only way forward for African people is by way of a unified, socialist Africa.
Listen as the podcast ends with the question: What role can revolutionary Pan-African socialist organizations play during this time? The intensification of the class struggle makes it impossible for us to struggle effectively either as individuals or as individual organizations. Unification is not a luxury. On all levels, it is an absolute imperative if African people are both to survive and to prosper. revolutionary Pan-African socialist organizations must unify.
We hope that you’ll listen to this month’s podcast and share it with your contacts.
