In the struggle for liberation, land is what matters most since the resources which come from the land provide all things necessary for a people’s survival and prosperity. Fortunately, despite hundreds of years of exploitation, Africa—the land that belongs to all Africans and people of African descent no matter where we happen to be born or to live in the world, no matter whether we see ourselves as black, African American, Afro-Caribbean—is still the wealthiest land on the face of the earth. The wealth and power that comes from our homeland, once unified and socialist, will benefit all global Africans, ensuring our liberation.
This is why we, in the PRSP, are convinced that a unified, socialist Africa is not only possible; it’s coming!
