For this June 2026 AMU Podcast, we hope that you’ll join Brothers Melvin and Terrence as they give evidence of the horrific quality of education for most African youth throughout Global Africa caused by capitalism in all its manifestations. From our homeland, to Haiti, to the u.s., Melvin and Terrence offer proof that our youth are ensnared by capitalism.
Africa While multinational corporations extract resources worth billions, our schools at home lack electricity, internet access, books and our youth are forced to work to help support their families.
Haiti Because of capitalist intervention, there exists economic collapse and political instability, devastating Haiti’s educational system.
u.s. Economic inequalities—underemployment and unemployment throughout Babylon—continue to give birth to poor educational outcomes for our youth, leading many to prisons. Calculate the amount of time lost since many of our youth are suspended and expelled because the teacher just does not understand the scholar!
Education is not a commodity. Education is a human right. A socialist based education is a revolutionary act with the transformational potential to reshape education as a tool for liberation.
We are convinced that a unified, socialist Africa is not only possible; it’s on the horizon! Help us to hasten its arrival by joining a revolutionary Pan-African socialist organization today.
